We hope our community is enjoying a long weekend off, courtesy of King George VI, who awarded our pupils an additional annual holiday 75 years ago when we returned to Witley after our site was requisitioned for the development of naval radar during WW2. Our nautical links continued with the National Oceanography Centre’s precursor being based in Witley until 1995. And just this week, congratulations to our pupil Sandy, who has passed his first Naval Boards, with a grading of Exceptional for his overall leadership, and has now been promoted to Leading Cadet #bridewellschools
