7th November 2024
I have been at KESW since 2020 and joined in the midst of a global pandemic. After a brief spell in Edward, due to Covid restrictions, I moved back to Grafton at the start of 4th Form. My brother joined the school, in QMH, as I moved into the Lower Sixth Form. My year group was the third year group to have a separate Upper Sixth Form House, called Jubilee, and it was here, where I will end my time at KESW.
While at KESW, I was fortunate to be the 1st XI hockey captain, a title I still hold at the time of writing. I also captained the cricket team, in the first ever international cricket tour, when we visited South Africa in 2023. Alongside my sporting successes, I have been able to unlock my academic potential, achieving very solid GCSE results, while being predicted three As for my A Level examinations.
I will be applying to undertake an undergraduate journalism degree. My first choice is currently the University Of Sheffield but I have also visited and applied for other Russell Group Universities, such as the University of Newcastle and the University of Leeds. After completing my degree, I aspire to travel around the world, becoming a well-known journalist in the process.
