Tell us a little about your time at King Edward's Witley?
I was at King Edward’s from the 2nd Year right through to Sixth Form and left in 1994. I was Head Boy and also Head of House at Grafton, as well as being in the hockey team.
What did life after school hold?
I went on to study Medicine at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Medical School. I also worked in Western Australia for a time.
I trained in Paediatrics and then specialised in Neonatal care. I have been a Consultant based in Gloucestershire for the last 12 years.
In fact, I went on to marry a King Edward’s girl, Jo Springford, and we celebrated our 21st anniversary in 2023. We have three children and very much enjoy travelling with them!
I have such fond memories of my time at KESW, and have remained friends with a number of people from my time there.
It`s Gold! 🥇 Toby Roberts is Olympic champion after the most incredible final today in Boulder and Lead. He faced tough competition from Anraku but his determination and perseverance over the two disciplines was enough to see him claim his medal. If you weren`t lucky enough to watch live, make sure you catch the highlights later to fully appreciate his brilliant achievement. Everyone at King Edward`s is so incredibly proud #bridewellfamily #kesproud #olympics #witley #gbclimbingteam #teamgb #oldwit...
