28th February 2022
On Friday 25th February, seven guest speakers attended King Edward’s for a ‘Your Future Career’ event, for Pre-Sixth and Sixth Form pupils. The afternoon, organised by our Head of Careers, Mrs Davies, allowed pupils to receive insights and interactive support from working professionals about career prospects, all of which are Old Witleians or part of the wider King Edward’s community.
Pupils sat in small groups, allowing for them to share ideas and ask questions, while the guest speakers moved around tables allowing for time with each group of pupils.
The event was specifically designed to introduce pupils to a range of careers across several sectors; offering a glimpse of the skills and expectations placed upon those in positions of responsibility. The knowledge will help pupils make informed decisions about their own future.
We thank all our guest speakers for giving up their time to join us to share their career journeys and insights into the world of work.
